About Shift iQ

For more than 20 years, we’ve been helping organizations answer an important question: how do you know what someone can do – and what they’re capable of doing next?

That question has shaped Shift iQ from the beginning.

We started with a belief that learning should lead somewhere. That assessments should provide meaningful evidence of what people know and can do. And that when organizations have a clearer understanding of skills, they can create better opportunities for people to grow.

Shift iQ is built by people who believe skills can create better opportunities for individuals, organizations, and communities. We work very closely with the organizations we serve, listen to the people using our platform, and stay focused on creating solutions that are useful, practical, and built around meaningful outcomes.

Our work is grounded in a shared belief: when people can understand, develop, and demonstrate their skills, more becomes possible. 

What guides us has remained consistent as Shift iQ has grown. We believe people should have opportunities to recognize and build on what they know and can do. We value learning as something that continues throughout a career, not something that ends with a course or credential. We believe different perspectives make our work and our workplace stronger, and we are committed to creating an environment where people are respected and included.
